I’ll be chewing on this book and what I’ve read for the rest of my life. Instead of asking the Lord to change our circumstances to suit us, we can ask him to use our circumstances to change us. However, the book all in all is a solid book on Spiritual Formation, and one I enjoyed reading. I couldn’t have been more wrong! The quality of our relationship with God is what will influence the health, potency, and witness of the church in an increasingly complex and hostile world.

It’s only draw conrormed is that it has so much spiritual meat in itthat it is like taking a drink from a fire hose! The dynamics of growth are inside-out rather than outside-in. All Scripture based, easy to understand, makes easier application for me: In the introduction, Boa describes the book as sort of like taking a gem and looking at its different faces in the light.
